Dr.'s Appt. 36 weeks
I just got back from my doctors appointment. My doctor was called away so I had to see the P.A. I was disappointed because 2 weeks ago Dr. Phillips had told me that this appointment she would be able to tell me how big Bella is or will be by delivery. Anyway, Amanda the P.A., did check me and said she thought I was about 25% effaced. YIPPEEEE!! That means that things are slowly but surely starting to progress. I know I could stay this way forever without changing but I like to think we are moving along. I go back next Wednesday and I already can't wait. Hopefully there will be more change and we can bring the baby into the world.

36 weeks
36 weeks down, (hopefully no more than) 4 to go!!!! I do believe I am getting more miserable by the day. I came home after church today and slept for several hours. I am worn out!!! She is enjoying herself though. She loves to poke her little toes out and let us play with them :)
This one's for you Tiffany. I know how much you love my belly button.
Back in Time
On Saturday I took a trip down memory lane, going back to good ole FHS for a Wranglerette 35th Anniversary celebration. We had been asked to dance and as much as I really wanted to, there was no way I could have pulled it off. The 90's section of the dance had high kicks and leaps in it. Seriously, I haven't danced in a LONG time and I'm pretty sure that would have put me into labor........hmmmmm.......come to think of it, maybe I should have given it a shot. Oh well it turned out there were only 2 class of 95ers that took part in the dance. We went to the luncheon and that was nice. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a better turn out, but it was still fun.
Several years after I left high school the team got a new dance room. You see while I was there, we practiced in the hallway every morning. Now they have a studio with mirrors and everything. We were a little jealous when we saw it, but it is great that they have been taken care of that way. This was the first time that I had seen the new drill room and I knew that Mom had bought a brick with my name on it for the wall. I was so excited to finally get to see it. After all the excitement of the luncheon I came home and backed my bag for the hospital (yes I finally did it) and rested for a little bit. Then Stacy came over and we picked up Niki and met Amanda at La Casita (Friendswood's finest Mexican restaurant). It was great seeing Amanda and Stacy. Stacy only lives 5 minutes from me now so hopefully we will see more of each other (right Stac!). We then went on to Spring Show. It brought back so many memories. Those were some good days back in the 90's. I loved being on that stage. Choir. Dance. Musical! So much fun!
I think we should make it a habit of going back and watching Wranglerette Spring Show every year!!!!

There I am!!
Nik and I in the drill room.
Niki and I reenacting her being lost and me pulling her in the right direction :)
Kim doing her famous fuete. She use to do this all the time in high school and we all thought it was hilarious. I should have gotten video of it.
Me, Niki, Kim and Jenny doing the "twist fall".
Outside the drill room. Proof I shouldn't be attempting high kicks!! And no I didn't fall over even though it looks like I was on my way.
At least Nik doesn't look like she's about to fall over.

Spring Show! Stacy, Amanda, Niki and Me.

i just noticed....
I was checking my blog....why? I have no idea it's not like there was going to be a surprise for me. We all know there won't be a new blog entry unless I have typed it. But I must say I did find a little surprise. My pregnancy ticker at the top of the page is on the LAST box. WOW! We sure have come a very long way in almost 7 years. The anticipation of her arrival is about to kill us. As I sit here right now she is moving like crazy. Her foot is in her favorite place......my ribs. Although that is not my favorite place for her little foot to be, it's still comforting to me to be able to feel her. She reacts BIG TIME to her daddy. He makes up silly songs and sings to her and she gets to dancing. It makes Terry excited. We have a little over 4 weeks left until she should be making her debut. Who and what will she look like? How much will she weigh? How long will she be? Will she have hair? What color will it be? I don't know if I can wait 4 weeks. I want to meet her so badly. I can't wait to hold her and kiss on her and put a big bow on her head. I feel like my heart might explode because I already love her so much, I can't imagine how I will feel when I FINALLY get to hold her. I'm pretty sure it will be the most amazing thing I have ever taken part in!!!!!

Random
We have been so busy the last couple of months that it is hard to sit down and really blog. Terry's kids soccer season is in full swing. We have had several baby showers and we are finishing up Bella's bedroom. I am busy at work trying to make sure everything is ready to go for maternity leave. I have my last 2 week appt next week and then I start going weekly. We are meeting Bella's pediatrician on the 5th. It just seems like there is so much to do at the end of pregnancy when I am so tires and don't feel like doing any of it. I really need a pedicure but I can't seem to come up with the energy to go get one. Now that is sad!
A few nights ago our neighbor across the street came over and told us that there had been some break-ins down the street. WHAT!?!?! It appears they were breaking in during the day so they were watching people to see what kind of schedules they kept. Well the next morning (Monday) Terry calls me in a panic, he can't find his wallet or his Ipod. It appears he left his brand new truck unlocked and someone made themselves at home. He called the police and they said he wasn't the only one that had happened to. So he spent the day getting a new debit card and taking care of that. Now one would think he would have taken special precaution to lock his truck and set the alarm 30 minutes after we were told about the robberies. NOPE!! He went to put something in his truck and forgot to lock it. I had to pick up Courtney from school on Monday afternoon and take her to dance. I brought her back to our house since Terry was home. They went on a nature walk in the backyard and then we read some books, ate a snack, and got dressed for dance. Terry went with us and as we were driving down the road his phone rang and he was telling them about his truck and wallet. This is conversation I had with Courtney as she heard what Uncle Ter Ter was telling the guy.
Courtney: Auntie Em, there are some mean people in this world.
Me: Unfortunately you are right.
Courtney: But there are more nice people in the world than mean people.
Me: I hope you are right about that.
Thoughts from a 4 year-old.
Needless to say Terry is locking and alarming his truck every night.
We had our maternity pictures taken yesterday. I can't wait to see them. Terry got in goofy mode so I am pretty sure there will be some funny ones. I will post some of them as soon as I get them.
Ok, I think I have rambled enough. I am taking a trip back to good ole FHS this weekend for a Wranglerette reunion and Spring Show. Should be lots of fun.

35 weeks brings.......
35 weeks
Here are a couple of 35 weeks pictures. This girl is wearing me out. She still tries to move around like she is only a couple of inches long. Boy am I feeling it!!! Her foot has found an almost permanent place in my ribs and she has begun head butting me in the bladder. Oh the joys of pregnancy. These pictures are a little blurry, I'm not sure what is going on with my camera.

Dr.'s Appt.
Today I had my 34 week dr.'s appt. I wasn't expecting her to check me but SURPRISE!!!! She did. I had some white blood cells in my urine so she wanted to make sure I didn't have an infection and she decided to check and see if I was dilated. I am not dilated at all but she did say "I think I'm feeling the baby's head". YEAH!!! That means the girl is in position. I had a feeling she was because when she had the hiccups today I felt them lower than I normally do. My next appointment is in 2 weeks and she said at that time she would be able to tell me better how big she is and all that good stuff. That will be my last 2 week checkup and then we go every week until she gets here. YIKES!!! Part of me feels like these last few weeks will take forever and part of me sees it flying by. I have GOT to get my bags packed and buy Bella's coming home outfit. I still have so much to do but all I really want to do is sleep. She is sucking the life out of me, but that's ok!! Just thought I would give a quick middle of the week surprise update.

Baby Shower
This weekend we had a couple's shower at our house. The weather was beautiful, we couldn't have asked for better!!! Everyone stayed outside the whole time. We had a great time and had some good laughs. There were several games played, one including baby food. Each contestant had 4 jars of baby food and they had to guess what was in each one. The first few must not have tasted that good for some reason, baby food beef anyone!! The funny thing is when it came to the last one, bananas, there were several empty jars. Apparently they are pretty good. Here are some pictures from the shower.Dad, Terry, Me, and Mom

This is Aaron being forced to eat baby food. Not exactly excited. But he was a good sport and let Tiffany feed him out of each of the jars.
Terry better get use to that stuff.
My belly is taking over Tiffany's entire body. Bella must be getting really big :)
Hostesses! Lori, Tiffany, Niki, Mom and Lesli. Notice my belly is covering Mom up.
He's always doing that!!
Not sure who the winner is on this one! Oh yeah and this can count as my 34 weeks picture!
Terry, Me, Bella, Lexi, Lesli, and Buddy
My how time is flying by. We have less than 6 weeks before this little one will be joining us. We absolutely cannot wait for her to get here. Terry now sings to her every night. I seriously think she knows when he is around my belly because she always reacts when he puts his hands on me. It is pretty cool and I can't wait to see their interaction once she is outside my belly. I thank God everyday for this precious man he put in my life and this precious life inside of me.

Fairy Princesses
33 weeks and a DYNAMO game
Dynamo had their home opener last weekend against Dallas. It was a sad 3-3 tie. Our goalie Pat got hurt early in the game and our second string keeper just wasn't cutting it. Oh well, at least we didn't lose!!! I didn't do any official 33 week pictures this week but I did take some pictures of the day. We had a great time getting back into tailgating with our soccer friends.Terry and Billy cooking up some good food!!!
