Baby Dedication

This morning at church we had our annual baby dedication. This year WE got to participate. I'm so thankful that we finally have a reason to participate in this event. Our precious baby girl, Isabella Grace. Mom and Dad participated with Ryan. It was great that he was able to be there as well. It was made even more special because Mema and Papa were able to be there and even got to come to the front for a prayer at the end. Special times!!

Mema and Papa come for a vist

My grandparents, Bella's great grandparents, came to visit this weekend. It was great seeing them and we are sure glad they came to visit. We of course took the opportunity to take some pictures of Mema and Papa with their 3 great grandchildren. Bella enjoyed showing off all her new tricks. She showed them how well she can Pat-A-Cake, play with her stand up toy while standing for a really long time, and just generally being cute. We also got to get the two little cousins together. It is always funny to get those two together. I'm pretty sure they will provide tons of entertainment in the future. Bella gets to see Courtney daily and they love each other alot. And I will leave you with a video. Oh, the times the come!!

Forever Orange

Well it's that time of year again....DYNAMO season. We are entering into our third season as season ticket holders. I'm not sure that Terry will ever let us give those up. We look forward to spending evenings with the DYNAMO through the season. Bella has her very own DYNAMO jersey. She even got one of the new ones while I am still wearing last seasons. Oh well!!

10 months and trip to the park!

On Bella's 10 month birthday we took a walk to the park. It was the first time we have taken her to the park. She wasn't too sure about the slides but I think she will really enjoy being within walking distance of 2 parks in years to come. One of them is only 2 blocks from our house!!

I know I say this often but I can not believe how fast time is flying. 10 MONTHS!!! We are starting to talk about her birthday party already. She is growing and changing and learning new things everyday. She is becoming more and more social and continues to impress in social situations. She really is such a good baby!! She is still not crawling but still manages to be very mobile. She will stand forever and even pushes her baby stroller a little bit. Se is also clapping. It is so cute when we start to sing Pat-A-Cake, she will start clapping. She now has 2 teeth and is back to sleeping in her bed and through the night. We had gotten into a bad habit of just putting her in our bed when she woke up in the night, that turned into her sleeping with us ALL night. Luckily we didn't let it last long and she has been back in her bed for about 2 weeks now. The first night was terrible. I was crying as hard as she was. BUT we have it all under control.......for now.

Notice that Bella is wearing her SFA gear in her pictures, well actually we all are. SFA made it into the NCAA Tournament for the first time ever. We lost to Syracuse (I can't stand them) in the first game. We cheered our boys on as best we could from the living room. Bella even had her lumberjack doll.

She was obviously over pictures and basketball :)

Rodeo

Wednesday night we went with Mom and Dad to the Houston Livestock show and Rodeo to see Alan Jackson. I love to go to the rodeo and I couldn't wait for Bella to experience it this year.

Mom and Dad

We ate at our favorite hamburger stand, "Paradise Burger". We eat there every year. They have great burgers!! Dad and Bella after we ate. Bella really liked her boots.....mostly in her mouth.

We took Bella to the kid zone to the petting zoo and she got to pet the goats, llama, pigs and even a baby kangaroo. Terry, Mom, Bella and I missed the actual rodeo this year because I had to go to the petting zoo. This is the part where I said, "Don't put her on the llama!" And so did the zoo keeper. Of course I took a picture anyway. May as well, she was already up there.

Look at the baby goats!

Bella meets a goat.

Bella was giving this goat her lovin.....

And then this other goat wanted her lovin....

If Daddy hadn't have been there they would have knocked her over to get her lovin.

The little cowgirl.

Dad went on over to Reliant Stadium to watch all the action and we got in just in time to see very small children ride sheep. Yep, that's right, 4 year-olds in bull riding helmets and vests, hanging on for dear life to sheep. They would fall off and cry. Not real sure what I thought about it but they all got trophies in the end, I guess that makes it better. After that interesting sport we enjoyed listening to Alan Jackson.

Bella did so good though the whole thing. She had earplugs and even took a nap. In this picture she was actually watching the fireworks.
