11 Months

Wow!! The last two weeks we have seen some MAJOR changes in this little person. She started crawling on Sunday night two weeks ago and we have seen lots of development in her gross motor skills. She is moving all the time now and always seems to have a purpose as to where she is headed. It has been so much fun to watch her learn and experience new things. She is standing on her own very well and cruising around ALL the furniture. She also loves to push around her stroller push toy. She is turning into a little girl right before my eyes!! Along with this newly found independence she has decided she is not really a fan of looking at the camera. It is KILLING me!! This month when we did her pictures she was much more interested in her sign and trying to (and succeeding at) diving off the chair. Oh my!
"I think I'll just eat the sign, I'm pretty sure Daddy just throws them away anyway."

"No more pictures, Mama!"

"I really want that sign back. It tasted so good!"

"Don't worry sign, I'll save you!" This is where she did jump off the chair and this mama did not catch her :(

"I'm just gonna stand here and clap and look pretty."

Easter

We had Easter at our house this year. It was our first official holiday with Mom's side of the family since we lost Grammy. We finally got a picture of all the great grandkids together, which was quite a disaster, but I couldn't help but wish Grammy was there to be in the picture with all the kids. It was great to have everyone over. The girls had to hunt Easter eggs in the house because the weather was yucky. Good thing that Easter bunny knows how to get in so he could hide those eggs!!Baby girls, Lexi and Bella

Ryan...I love this picture.

This picture cracks me up because my brother is not a fan of the camera (a trait that his niece has picked up from him) and he got in this picture AND smiled all on his on....Miracle.

Bella being her sassy self in her Easter dress.

I hope everyone had as great of an Easter as we did!

Cake Pops = Not very pretty :(

So Mom and I attempted to make cake pops for Easter. We found out they are not near as easy as they look. They were really quite ugly. I was rather sad because I was really excited about these cute little things. I've got nothing on Bakerella. We are still planning on attempting a version of them for Bella's birthday party (can't believe she is almost 1...YIKES). We actually started out OK and it all went downhill from there. Luckily my baker cousin Tiffany will be here to help us with Bella's birthday.

Oh so SAD!!

Blake and Katie get Married!!

Last weekend Terry and I got a night away to attend Blake and Katie's wedding. They are fellow lumberjacks, which makes them extra special. When we were in undergrad Blake's sister lived next door to me at French Quarter so I would see him around every once in awhile (he was still in high school). When we went back to SFA for our second go round in 2004 we hung out with him and Katie quite a bit. It was great to finally see them get hitched after 6 years. We had a blast. Thanks Mom and Dad for helping us get a night out!!

Terry and Aaron. They were being crazy and wouldn't both make good camera faces at the same time. Silly boys!!

This picture makes me laugh. I handed my camera to Natalie to take a picture of us with Blake and Katie and she kept saying it didn't look right. When I looked at what she had done I had to crack up. She said, "I told you it didn't look right!"

After that I handed my camera to Amy and we decided to do some sneak photography but Blake caught us and smiled real big.
Finally!!

The boys (groomsman) wore converse. Awesome!!

We got to hang out with Natalie and Gibio. They are expecting baby girl #2 Landry in about 3 weeks. Can't wait to meet her.

Me and Natalie

This was great!! They were doing the Micheal Jackson "Thriller" dance. LOVED IT!! I love how much fun Katie is having....

Bluebonnets

A few weeks ago we took Bella to take her picture in the Bluebonnets. She stared at them, tried to eat them, and refused to look at the camera. This is becoming a trend....not wanting to look at the camera. It's KILLING me!!! So I got what I could and have actually played just a tad at editing a couple of these pictures. I just used the windows live editing tools but am working on learning photoshop. We'll see what happens. Here are a few of my favs of Bella.

We also met up with Kelly, Robby and baby Anthony. Anthony is 4 months old and is such a sweet little guy. He just happens to also be a Dr. Schnell miracle baby. Here are a few pictures of the DeSanto family because I just couldn't help myself.I love Anthony's face in this picture, it cracks me up.

My favorite picture!!
