This past weekend my cousin Tiffany came for a visit. We had a great time visiting, shopping, and we even took her to a DYNAMO game. I even let her borrow a shirt so she could pretend she was an ol'timmer. All the gang was there of course. We tied the game 1-1. It's not a win but we still had a great time. Yes, Tiff and I had on matching shorts. We can blame this on Mema. Somehow we have carried this childhood matching "thing" into adulthood :)

Tiny Dancer
Courtney has started dance class and her Auntie Em couldn't be more proud. I am so excited that she is doing this and she seems to like it. I have to say that she was pretty good. She seems to pretty much be a natural. She is taking Ballet and Tap.
Wedding Reception
I know it has been awhile since we have posted. We have been pretty busy which is a good thing because it gives us less time to think. I like that. Several weekends ago we made a quick trip to Corsicana. Terry's oldest brother Randy got married. Terry and the Groom
Our niece Taylor (Randy's youngest)
Our Brother-In-Law Jerry. Now this is a rare sighting in Corsicana!!!

We had a nice time while we were there.
They have moved Terry's Granny Summerall into an assisted living place so they were cleaning out her townhouse. Terry and I acquired two antique pieces of furniture that we are very excited about. I wish I had have taken pictures of them but I didn't even think about it. We are having them restored so we wont get them for a while but when we do I will post pictures.

NEW DAY
Terry on the key board here. Well as you can see we had a great weekend back in Nacogdoches. After Thursday's crappy news we needed some good vibes, and nothing works better than a familiar place surrounded by great friends and good memories. Our hats off to ROSS for finally graduating. Well moving on to the whole reason we are here.
Today we visited Dr Schnell for our consult to see where we stand after our first round of invitro. We were expecting to have at least a month before we would do another round. Our main concern was what went wrong or why we did not get pregnant from the first try. As you can probably imagine, we had a million conspiracy theory's about why we did not get pregnant, but the Doc mainly said that it's OK and we will try a few things different to get a better result. Emily and I are both very confident in our Docs abilities and will take her positive attitude into this next round. We will do another transfer in about two weeks. They will have Emily doing a few things differently. For one she will not be taking Lupron on this round. Next they will be using embryo glue, which will help the embryo attach to the uterus. If you are like me, I have this image of the Doc with a little bottle of super glue trying to put it on the embryos and then putting them in Emily' s Uterus. Surely not, but it is a funny image. Next they will be giving Emily some type of shot to help the Embryos attach. So that's two different things to help the embryos attach. Later, Em and I both were wondering why they didn't do that the first time. Last thing, Dr. Schnell wants Emily to do acupuncture before and after the embryo transfer. Research has shown that this relaxes the Uterus and actually helps the woman relax and therefore get pregnant more often. You can see some studies here http://vitalis.co.nz/ivf.html
So that's where we stand for now. Emily will have needles sticking out of her and I am going to ask the Acupuncturist if I can do a few for fun. He is a pic of what it should look like.....Well not really but that does look relaxing. RIGHT! The next one is more like it.
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we go through this process. We love you all!!

A Trip to our "Happy Place"
After a very emotional day on Thursday (I threw myself a pity party), we picked ourselves back up, brushed ourselves off and headed to Nacogdoches. Nac, as many of you know, is my happy place. Our good friend Ross was graduating from SFA. Congrats Ross, you did it!!!
This is what a college grad looks like :)
We had planned this trip several months ago and it couldn't have fallen at a better time. Our sweet friend Crystal made the trip with us, she is also a Lumberjack.

We had a great time and it was great to get away from "real life" for a little while. Of course we hit all the bookstores and got some SFA loot. We also ate our favorite chicken from Chicken Express. We got to tour the new University Center. BEAUTIFUL!!! I am so impressed with what my hiked up tution paid for.Inside the University Center.
This is a view of the Rusk building from the second story balcony of Starbucks in the UC. You can no longer drive through here but it looks awesome.

Pregnancy Test
Negative......Yes we are grieving, but we will be ok. Today is not a good day for us but hopefully tomorrow will be better. We ask that you all please let us grieve and give us a chance to recover. We don't know why or what went wrong but for whatever reason we are not there yet. This is a long road and we are doing our best to stay positive and keep faith that we will make it through. Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement throughout this process. We will be planning a new course of action Monday with the Dr. We ask you you all continue to pray for us and understand that we may not want to answer a lot of questions but we will do our best. For now this just SUCKS!!!!!!!!!
