"Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, Mama, Mama, Mom!" - Isabella Grace Richards
I've had a lot of nicknames in my lifetime but" Mommy" is by far my favorite. I often hear mom's say, "I'm going to change my name if I hear Mommy one more time." If anyone ever hears me say this, please beat me with a stick! It is such an honor to carry that name and it is the sweetest sound to my ears. I waited for a long time to be called Mommy and I don't plan on changing my name anytime soon. I love to hear her call me no matter her mood because it simply means she needs me. Sure sometimes it isn't in the most pleasant way or she is in a bad mood, but what does that matter, I'm a mommy, that's my name, please wear it out!
This beautiful girl made me a mommy for the first time and I love her to pieces. She can make me smile so big and she can also push my buttons in the biggest way. She can make me so happy, but also has the ability to make me so mad. Luckily the happy far outweighs the mad. I love being her mommy more than I could ever express in words. She makes my mommy heart so happy and full and sometimes I'm pretty sure it's going to pop out of my chest.
I make sure I tell her I love her at least 652 times a day. Sometimes more, never less. I don't ever want her to feel anything less than as much love as possible.
I must say that waiting all those years for her was totally worth it. Going through it felt like a lifetime but in the end I couldn't be happier with the way God planned my "mommy ride". Now I have baby girl number 2 on her way and I'm pretty sure my mommy heart really will explode.
I love my big girl and her baby sister to be so much and I look forward to being their mommy for a very long time. So, Isabella Grace, you call me Mommy as often as you like. It's my favorite name because you gave it me.
Then there is this pretty lady. She is my mommy. She is also my best friend. I love her a lot too. I'm pretty sure she is my biggest fan and has always been there for me no matter what. That's what mommy's do and she is the epitome of a mommy. I know she is a nana now, a name which she carries quite proudly, but she was my mommy first. I love you, Mama! You are the best!
