Kenzie's Rock Star Party

Photobucket
My friend from high school, Laura (far left), threw her daughter, Kenzie (far right), a rock star themed 3rd birthday party.  Bella loved it because there was a stage, music, and blow up microphones, what more could a girl ask for!

Testing out the mic!  She stayed on the stage pretty much the whole party.  She was performing!

The littlest rock star!! Happy 3rd Birthday, Kenzie! Thanks for having us!

Brynlee is 7 months

Dear Brynlee,

You are just growing and changing so much everyday. You started sitting up this month and you enjoy sitting on the floor playing with your toys. You LOVE to play with your toys (and your sister's, she doesn't love that). You are still working on eating. You don't seem to like the texture of cereal and you gag on it. We will keep working on it though. You are wearing a size 2 diapers and 3-6 months clothes. You are a little thing. You are still nursing and Mommy is still taking her pump to school everyday. You still love Mommy the most. I think we are going to be in trouble when you start crawling. You want everything with in grabbing distance and you really love the remote and my iPhone. Since you were sick we had to fall a month behind on your well checks and shots. Your stats are:
Height: 27 inches (63%)
Weight: 14lbs 11.5ozs (7%)
Head: 17 inches (48%)

You still love Mommy's hair.  You still aren't sleeping through the night.  Someday?

Love you bunches,
Mommy

Just for Fun

So I've decided that I'm not in enough pictures because I am always behind the camera. I don't want my girls to look back on this time and wonder where Mommy was. Plus, I just wanna be in pictures with my family! So we had a little fun with the self timer and Daddy took a turn behind the camera. These two little girls are so much fun but can make me so crazy at the same time. I'll take the crazy to get everything else!

Brynlee is 6 months

Dear Brynlee,
WHOA!!! Let's slow down a little here pretty lady. Time is moving way to quickly and it is killing your mama. As much as I love watching you grow and develop, I desperately want you to stay small for as long as possible. You laugh and smile all the time. Your new thing is to pant like a dog when you get excited. It's pretty funny and I love it when you do it because you are excited to see me. You still get very excited when you see me and that just makes my smile. You are weighing around 14 lbs these days. We won't know your official stats until next month because we are a month behind on your shots because of you getting RSV at Thanksgiving. You are wearing a size 1-2 diaper but I've seen Daddy eyeing the size 2 diapers. He is always rushing things! You can still wear your 3 month clothes but are moving into the 3-6 month clothes. We did buy you some 6 month jammies so your little toes don't get squished in you footed PJ's. You had your first bite of cereal this month and you aren't very fond of it. We will keep working on that one. You have started to try and sit up. You aren't quite there yet but I'm thinking it will happen any day now. You love to play with my hair. When I pick you up, you will grin really big and grab two fistfuls of hair and put it in your mouth. You also like to wrap you hand in it when you are falling asleep. You pull it (out) all the time and I pretty much let you. You have gotten really interested in Gabby these days. She is very fond of you as well. You are still not back to sleeping through the night and I am running on auto pilot but we will keep working on it. You are still nursing and it seems to be your preferred method of nutrition when I am around. You are starting to get ahead of me with pumping so you are getting a bottle or two of formula a day. My goal was to get you to 6 months of breast milk and I did it. Now I'm just going to keep going as long as I can. I think I will probably be very sad when you quit nursing. I have enjoyed this experience with you so much. You are so sweet and precious and I often find myself squeezing you tight. I love you so much!
